Okay so im pretty sure no one else did this objective, which is evaluating factorials.
There are two ways to do factorials on your calculator, and there may be more, but I only know the 2. You can do it the long way, and punch in 10 x 9 x 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1, or you can punch in 10 on your home screen, then hit MATH, then go to PRB, and then hit 4 which is the ! mark.
1st Example
Evaluate 4!
A) 10 B) 9 C) 176 D) 24
Correct Answer = D
Because...
You would do 4 x 3 x 2 x 1, or 4!
4 x 3 = 12
12 x 2 = 24
24 x 1 = 24
2nd Example
Evaluate 6!/5!
A) 21 B) 6/5 C) 6 D) 720
Correct Answer = C
Because...
You can either put 6!/5! into you calculator, and you will get 6, or else you can go 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 / 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1. When you divide like that, the reason the answer is 6 is because of elimination. Both factorials have 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1, so they cancel each other out, and you are left with 6.
3rd Example
Evaluate 4! + 6!
A) 17 280 B) 34 560 C) 372 D) 744
Correct answer = D
Because...
Once again, you can either put this in your calculator or do it by hand. To do it by hand just go 4 x 3 x 2 x 1
24, and 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1
720, then add them together, and you get 744.
